Community Ministry Center Food Bank
The Mission & Outreach ministry partners with local food banks collecting non-perishable food donations throughout the year. If you would like to donate, there are bins in the Narthex to place them. Thank you for continuing to serve and meet the needs of our community.
Treasure House
Donation Drive begins August 9th
Our Mission & Outreach Committee is partnering with Treasure House to support our local community through an ongoing donation drive.
To continue this important ministry, they are requesting donations of the following regular- or family-sized items:
TREASURE HOUSE NEEDS
Laundry detergent / Dish soap
Sanitizing wipes
Feminine hygiene items / Deodorant
Shampoo / Conditioner
Body wash / Bar soap / Hand soap
Any other basic hygiene items
Please no "travel sizes"
A Season of Giving
The Mission and Outreach Committee is delighted to announce a lineup of fall and early-winter opportunities for our congregation to make a meaningful impact in our community and beyond.
October: Socktober
Help keep feet warm this fall by donating NEW WHITE TUBE SOCKS to Micah Ministry to distribute to their homeless shelters. Narthex collection bins will be available throughout the month. Dates will be announced soon.
November: Thanksgiving Food Drive
As Thanksgiving approaches, we’ll collect holiday-themed food donations to support the Community Ministry Center and help local families celebrate the season with a little extra abundance.
November: Operation Christmas Child
Throughout November, our congregation will once again participate in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. Shoeboxes will be available all month, with the final collection on Sunday, November 22. Virtual shoeboxes are also an option.
Early December: Christmas Tree Ministry
We’re joyfully bringing back our Christmas Tree Ministry, partnering with the Treasure House to help fulfill wish-list items for families in need. More details will be shared as we approach December.
